Working with Raising Paddles has been amazing. Scott has been our auctioneer for 2 years. Our revenues have skyrocketed using the techniques and strategies that Scott has suggested. He is way more than a night of auctioneer. He works with us from conception of our event to execution the night of, offering suggestions and best practices. He has sat in on board meetings and presented to our board members about how they should set personal fundraising goals for the paddle raise and auction and how they should talk to their guests. He has coached the staff on positioning our guests to be ready to donate before they even arrive. He even convinced our staff and board to bring back the live auction and ditch our silent auction. Following his advice, we raised more at our 2022 event than in the event’s 15-year history. We are very happy with the services and have recommended Scott to many others. You can’t go wrong!

We hired Dan Campbell for our 38th Auction. We had 1/3 of the crowd due to Covid-19 restrictions. We had the best year ever! Our fund-a-need brought in over $210,00 (double of the previous year). Dan had so many awesome ideas and did a fantastic job. He greeted our guests! He said good-bye with big thank you’s! We loved working with him and can’t wait to do it again in 2022. Erin was unbelievable! She was such a gift to our team and truly felt like she was one of our staff members. My first experience with a professional auction expert could not have been better! We celebrate 70 Kansas Citians who are 70 or better each year, and have had to do the last 2 virtually.
